I Used these in a CyberPower 1500VA UPS that had dead batteries. Pretty straightforward replacement and my runtime numbers are much better. My use case is mostly for fighting power flickers and brownouts. As we live in a fairly rural but developing suburb. We probably have 10+ Flickers a week and at least one or two 5-10 min outage per month.I bought these Powersonic PS Series batteries to replace OEM batteries in various older APC UPS units. These batteries match perfectly the trickle charge specs of the original batteries and should have a long lifetime in the UPS. However, these are meant for low amp loads, emergency backup for lighting or medical equipment, that drains the battery over 20+ hours. For any lead acid battery, the capacity is named for 20h discharge and significantly decreases with discharge current in relationship to capacity. At 2C, 18A in this case, you will go down to about 3.5AH capacity with this series. They are not meant for high current applications such as a UPS and Powersonic has a special line (PSH Series) for that that could maintain nearly 5AH at that rate, but are much harder to acquire. These do, however, ok, under 2C load scenarios, not great, but ok, and are able to deliver the current, but not for as long. I tested them to nearly 3C discharge and they were holding up. These PS Series batteries do fit many APC units that utilizes 12V 7AH and 9AH batteries. If you stay below 1C load, eg cable modem backup, these batteries are great. But you may want to look for high discharge batteries if you plan to put them in the UPS to backup a power hungry desktop system. Also to mention, these come with F2 terminals, these are the wider spade connector at 1/4" width. These were purchased as replacements in Tripp-Lite Uninterruptible Power Supplies. The package arrived 3 days earlier than expected and the batteries were well packaged and protected. Fit was excellent. This is important as the battery fits fairly snug inside the UPS. Connectors were protected with plastic slip-on tabs. Again the fit for the wiring connectors was excellent.I only use my UPS less than a minute at a time to power my computer systems until the stand- by generator is on line. Thus I cannot speak to power duration longer than a minute per occurrence. These tested fine, came fully charged, and appeared fresh. These work great for my Tripp Lite SMART1500LCDT UPS, which needed new batteries. Since the UPS uses 2 batteries, this 2-pack is perfect as a replacement. The stock batteries are glued/taped one on top of the other. I just stacked these without taping them them together. They feels very secure once mounted inside the UPS. Plus the UPS is in a stationary location anyways. The UPS turned on with no issues, and I tested the batteries by unplugging the UPS from the power outlet and let it run on battery power for a while. Everything just worked. No complaints!Real Power Sonic batteries. I used them to replace 7Ah no-name batteries that barely ran my PC for 10 minutes when new (I cheeped out on the last replacement, regretted it). Awesome run time in my UPS (they were at 21% according to the software when the power came back on, I was around a half hour into an outage with a high-end PC and dual monitors). They're being used in a PowerCom KIN-1000AP UPS in my case. Can definitely recommend these, especially for units that come with 7Ah batteries stock. They're physically the same size but have more capacity.Received the blue Power-Sonic batteries as Described. They seem to be almost fully charged Put them in a APC Backup XS-1300, it said had 850 minutes with no load. My backup is working like New.My APS Back-UPS XS 1500 was showing 'Replace Battery' and making lots of alarm sounds. After looking around the 'net, I settled on these replacement batteries. They fit in the APS unit exactly as the originals did and perform with no problems so far (2 months). These were installed in a Liebert UPS. They presently work. For how long - is anyone's guess, but they still hold a charge after two deep cycles, and I've owned batteries that didn't.
