Bought June 29th, 2015, Died 1/2/17.Update: So this chair finally has bit the big one. Turns out the metal isn't really solid metal in the chair. It broke and now the whole back fell off. Its fairly cheap and has been having some problems with being bent as the "metal" is cheap. The chair also slowly raised up over time. Simply getting up off the chair and sitting back down it would raise, while sitting extended time would cause it to drop. I highly recommend steering clear of this chair. Also not this chair was used for 4-5 hours M-F, and 12-16 hours a day on most weekends. (gamers...)Chair is great, bolts don't line up great, but easy fix just don't tighten till you have both sides of the back of the chair together. If you can't figure out how to connect 8 bolts, and pop a piston and some tires onto the frame, don't even bother. Heard a lot of reviews regarding poor instructions. If you need instructions to heat up tea, I would just buy a already put together chair... The major downside is, the chair slowly starts to go down over time, at first it didn't do this, but later it is now going down all the time, every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I thought someone was playing a prank on me till we weren't home all day and I came home and it had went down 2 inches.The directions were in the form of pictures, if you can follow the pictures you can put this together with some ease. I like that both arm rests can be raised. There is a lever that allows you to lean back, giving you a range of options that you can position and than you can lock that position in place or if you wish, you can not lock it down and you can 'rock' back and forth if you wish. The other lever is for the seat height adjustment. I have it adjusted about middle ways and so far it has stayed there. I have been using the chair for nearly 2 months, the seat cushion is wide and surprisingly quite comfortable. Although the base is made of hard plastic, it is quite sturdy. The knob in front is for the seat tilt adjustment. You do notice the adjustment.The cons:More than once I have had to tighten the screws on the back of the chair, they can loosen up. Every time that I sit down or when I get up from the chair the air cylinder make a loud jerking noise. It is much louder when I get up than when I sit. I even tried putting a lubricant on the cylinder and it did not help.This chair is truly amazing. I was surprised when I first sat in the chair at how comfortable it was. For the price I was expecting little comfort and poor quality. However, this chair feels great to sit in and it does not feel as if I will fall out of it at any moment. In fact, I bought a standing desk with this chair, but the chair is so comfortable that I have yet to actually stand while using the desk.well first off I love the fact that it matches my desk set up perfectly! lol, it creeks a little but a lot sturdier than I imagined. I'm 5'9" 285 lbs and this chair is holding down the fort lol. I specifically brought this chair so that I cant sit up and have back support and seeing as I sit at my desk for long periods and it does the job. Now if I could just get the rest of this room cleaned!Assistance is needed when assembling this as it bulky and heavy. The back brace it's very nice white hard plastic almost like a resin, the base and the frame of the backrest is an off-white the feels like standard plastic with visible seams. The armrests are much comfier than the seat which seems to be much more firmer. The main negative to all this is the backrest where the lumbar support seems to be higher than where my actual lumbar is. The top of the backrest slopes too far backward, giving no support to the top of the shoulders. If one slouches down, the backrest would be meaningful except you would be left with no lumbar support.For me, this chair would be nothing worth more than $90 and that's being generous. I've spent less on a chair that was more concise and cleaner in design and more comfortable.Update: This chair seems to be an a cheaper duplicate of Realspace Calusa Mesh Mid-Back Chair which only comes in black.I agree with the other customer that you need another person assembling this chair esp. aligning the back because it's super heavy and you cannot align it holding both parts alone! it's not that complicated to assemble however a good driver-drill will do the trick and will make the assembly super easy and fast! the included tool will also work but as i've said driver drill will make your work easier and faster! i even assembled it with my daughter in just under 10mins! it looks pretty sturdy even though it's material is plastic and i think it's a very heavy duty plastic, nylon-cushioned, well padded seat and very well comfortable for me! lastly, the lumbar arc for support is the best! overall, i highly recommend this chair!the chair is comfortable and the seating padding is good and thick. 2 areas on the chair were marked or scratched. Won't clean off. Seems like a packing issue although everything was pretty well packed. Will need some repair spray paint. Took a couple of weeks to get.It's pretty and looks great with my white desk. I got the one in red.Assembly: not easy at all, needs two people, it's heavy and especially when you have to align the back and seat, coordination is needed. Also, the holes don't line up which is the main reason for my low rating. So I'm making do with a loose back because I had to choose between the holes that needed to be screwed out. I chose diagonal attachment so it's stable.Comfort: after spending 8 hours on this chair, I can say it's as comfortable as I expected it to be. The tilt in the back isn't great, the arm rest is too high (I'm 5' 1") and though you can push it up, you can't push it down. The material is good. Comfy fabric.I'm not entirely dissatisfied with the purchase but this chair had the potential to be pretty great.Pedi la silla blanca y me llegó negra!! Muy mal!
