So they are perfect for me. I used to use the ones with the black clips. Those are heavy and bulky, not these they are light and durable. Of course always be gentle when putting them on your glasses. So I have clear frames... So it's awesome because sometimes they look as if they are part of my glasses. Okay it won't work for everyone. If your lenses are to small and square.. It's going to be sticking out. I know because I tried them on an old pair I had... How do you know if they will work for you? On the advertisement you can see the old couple.. Look closely at the lady who is wearing them. Her lenses are a little round and a little big..also compare my lense.. Overall I am very happy. I ordered a few more pairs of different strengths.These work good but are shipped in a plastic case that fits too tightly with no cushion…the glass rubs against the case causing a web of scratches on both sides. Need to return.I liked that It is a blue ray clip on for my glasses. It awesome I don’t have to change my prescription glasses when I’m on the computer for the blue ray protection.3.5x bout pulls my glasses off (pretty heavy) but I do like them. Now I can see to do certain tedious things like soldering tiny lil wires and reading tiny little text and working on my watches.Lenses are great very clear if you need some of of these clip on magnifiers these will indeed do the trick.Not sure what more to say they work as expected came with what the store page says.I'd recommend them to anyone as blind as me.Take care, i hope my review helps.After cataract surgery, I need reading glasses to read very fine print, the only kind that instructions seem to be written in these days. These flip-up reading glasses work fine, and seem to be made of quality materials. They fit the frame of my glasses quite well. The lenses are acrylic, not glass, so one should clean them carefully to avoid scratching them. The readers come with a micro cloth, a sturdy case, and a cloth drawstring bag to help keep dust away from the lenses, since the back of the case has an open slot for the readers' clip to fasten upon. I probably should've ordered a weaker magnification than 3X. I have to hold whatever I'm trying to read about 6 inches from my eyes. This is a little awkward for reading a long text, but should work fine to tie flies on a leader.I normally wear progressive eyeglasses, where the reading portion is near the bottom of the lens - I used to wear bifocals.However, the last time I purchased eyeglasses, they were having a “two for one sale” so I bought one pair with progressive lenses, and one pair for distance vision.I use the distance vision eyeglasses for when I am watching television while laying back in a recliner. If you’ve ever tried this, you’ll know that you have to look through the bottom portion of your eyeglasses to see the screen from a reclined position.It was a real pain to wear my progressive eyeglasses way down on the end of my nose to be able to look through the upper portion of the lenses. Using eyeglasses with distance only vision took care of that problem.This works great until I get an urgent message on my cell phone or until I have to look at the television remote control buttons. I need reading glasses for that, and that’s where these great clip on reading glasses come in handy.I have them clipped onto my distance vision glasses, and have them flipped all the way up while I am watching television. If I need to look at my cell phone, the remote control, or anything close up, I just easily flip the reading glasses to the down position.These clip on reading glasses clip onto my eyeglasses very easily, and the lenses are very clear and distortion free. I highly recommend them, and the price is great.This clip-on magnifier is built pretty well. It fits onto my regular eyeglasses perfectly and can be flipped up and down easily. While it does provide some magnification, I do have to basically adjust the distance to the object. If I am trying to read small print on instructions, I need to move it to just the optimum distance between my eyes. It comes complete with a hard shell case, a cleaning cloth and a soft drawstring case.Overall, it is good for me when I need occasional magnification to read certain things more clearly.The clips on lens are very helpful when looking at the computer compared to my bifocals or prescription reading glasses.Do wish they were easier to clip onto my glasses sometime does not work with all of my glasses.Not bad for tv watching either.
