I am very used to building flat-pack furniture cause I find it super enjoyable. This one was a journey. The top piece that goes over the drawer needs to have the holes that are set back further from the edge in the front. I accidentally reversed them and had to unscrew that part and orient it properly. This part is unclear in the picture instructions. The two screws that go in front to keep the drawer from sinking into the frame require a hex key that isn't included. I also would have preferred white screw fronts instead of gold, since I got the all white version.I bought this primarily because I have multiple sclerosis and at this point I prefer surfaces I can bring to me, rather than places I need to move to, if that makes sense. That said, it's great for a small space but bigger than I expected. I'm pretty sure it's made of MDF and therefore is pretty heavy. But there's plenty of room for my (modest) cosmetics collection and I'll probably use it for nail polish as well. The surface is a reflective white and I will probably put something on the top to protect it, but it's not bad. It feels sturdy and solid.For the price, this is a nice addition to my space. A lot of the vanities I looked at were in a similar price range, but I didn't need a lot of storage and this meets my needs well. For someone with a huge collection who wants to have a substantial variety of products to choose from in arms reach, this may not be worth it. But for me it checks all of the boxes while being affordable.
