other then receiving a deflective chair - this thing felt like crap. a budget throw away good for 3 months..I unfortunately and well at this point... fortunately - received a unit with a damaged slide mechanism.. sent this to the dumpster..what a fail from HON..For just under $450.00, it's pretty inexcusable for the chair to arrive with both the tilt adjustment and tilt lock knobs broken, with the chair permanently reclined to the rear.Very bulky going to return itThe lumbar support is easily adjusted in the chair and very comfortable on the back. I have it at my work desk. It's pretty easy to put together: just pop the cap on the stem and place the chair (heavy! ) on the stem and it's done. Arms raise up and down, chair has the piston lift, five casters. Very nice.It is NOT for extra wide people. I fit ok in it (I'm pretty tall and not skinny.) I can fit in airline seats so it's not that kind of problem, but I definitely noticed it was good for me but anyone bigger would not fit easily. I'm an XL pant size for women. If that helps. If you are relatively average sized, it's fine. If you are a football player or sumo wrestler, no.So this is a terrible value. I have had an Ergohuman chair for nearly 10 years and it's finally giving out, so I needed something comparable. This is not. We've had task chairs a fraction of this price that were better built than this. It's wobbly, not very adjustable, and although it's well padded, it's not comfortable after a few hours, and I need an all-day work chair. I'm 5'5" and I can't touch the ground with flat feet on the lowest setting, so it's basically unusable for me. Look elsewhere. This is junk. The HON Endorse Mid-Back Task Chair (HLWU) is a quality product that delivers support and comfort. Unlike many office chairs these days, the HON Endorse really feels solid and strong. It doesn't creak or make noises in movement. It glides smoothly and swivels with ease. There's just a huge difference in a chair like this and your typical office store chair. The chair is comfortable and offers plenty of support. I might like to sit a bit more cushion, but it definitely keeps me comfortable for extended periods. Granted, it is a task chair, so the seat is a bit narrow/short. But it's not something I really notice while sitting in it. Mine arrived without issue and was easy to configure. I look forward to keep it around for awhile.I have used many different office chairs over the past 49 years, everything from those old wooden chairs that lean back and are seldom seen these days except in old Westerns to the popular mesh b back and seat versions of today. Most chair look much better than they feel, once you sit in them for a few hours. I like arms on the chair, but find them a problem for getting up close to the desk to type. Often the seat is either too hard or too soft, or just shaped wrong. None of these problems come with this HON Endorse Mid-Back Task Chair. When the box arrived, I was fearful that the chair might be damaged, since the box looked like it had to fight for survival. But that wasn't the case. The chair was fine. I took the 3 pieces out, and within a couple minutes had it assembled.Unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to use the chair. There was nothing at all in the box but the chair. Fortunately, there is a very good video on the Amazon.com page to watch. The chair is truly very comfortable, much better than my last 2 chairs, one of which was leather and the other mesh. The adjustable lumbar support is a real plus. Also, I love the arm rests that can be lowered with the push of a button, so that I can get up close to the desk for typing.I really cannot find anything negative to say about this HON Endorse Mid-Back Task Chair. I love it! I recommend it!
