I have one of these chairs, this was the 2nd one. First order was lost on the last mile of delivery, took 3 weeks to resolve with HON and get credit. 2nd chair arrived on schedule without any of the bolts to hold it together. $6 at Home Depot. HON wanted me to rebox and return the chair and they would ship a new one.Happy with the chair, unhappy with HON.2020 - the chair was $95, 2022 - $157 a 65% increase in cost....I bought this for a chair at my sewing machine. . It's awesome. One year later, it still is great. It is comfortable and well made. The wheels glide well. The chair seems to be made fairly well, overall. It went together fairly easily and fairly quickly. There was one loose thread on the back rest.If there is anything lacking in this chair, it would probably be the cushioning in the seat. I weigh 175-180 and I'm pretty much flattening the cushioning in the seat all the way down. I ordered a a separate chair cushion to put on top of the seat. The handle on this chair pushes inward to lock the back rest in an upright position. The handle mechanism was so dry that it would hardly push in and out. I put some LOCK-EASE on it and then it worked many times better. The handle pushes in and out with no effort at all now.Try to use something else besides LOCK-EASE, though, because LOCK-EASE is very thin and can run all over the place.Update: My records show that I bought this chair on 01-04-13. This is 2/8/15. So I've had it a little over 2 years. I'm sorry to say that the pneumatics seem to be going bad already. Recently, I've been noticing that I can raise the chair all the way and after awhile the chair is down all the way. What can that be besides failure of the pneumatics? As far as I know I wasn't touching the adjustment at all during the time I was using the chair. But if I'm wrong, I'll correct that here. If the pneumatics are failing already, then I definitely won't be buying another one of these.Update: Don't buy one of these. On top of the chair being too hard and causing me to have to buy a cushion for it (which turned into a waste of money because the cushion wasn't very good), it looks like I've got pneumatic problems with the chair too now. I've had the chair about 2 years. I'm not sure exactly when the pneumatics problem started, but the problem is very noticeable now. Even months before, I started having feelings that something wasn't right with the chair. But now the chair seat sinks so far down that I almost feel like I'm sitting on the floor after sitting in the chair only a short time. I have to keep raising the seat all the time. I guess this is either a valve or a piston leaking inside the pneumatic mechanism in the chair. I definitely won't be buying another one of these chairs.I love this chair especially since I've had no problems with the seat "sinking" like my last two cheaper chairs. It's very comfortable, well padded and adjustable. Very pricey but I wasted just as much money on previous two chairs that failed within weeks. This is a good chair for the price. Is it as comfortable as one of the $200 tempurpedic chairs at your local office store? No. Does it have all of the options for adjustment that they do? No. But if you're like me and can't afford $200 for a chair, this just might be the solution for you. People have asked if this is a sturdy chair, and I can say that I think that it is. I have had people from 120 lbs to 300 lbs sit on this, and they all said they were comfortable. This chair had a wide enough seat for everyone who sat in it, and all of them found it to be sturdy. Several people have talked about how uncomfortable the fabric is. It don't think it's that bad, but then, I haven't been sitting naked on it. I will say that if you have pets in your house, this chair is a pet hair magnet. It was super easy to put together - it took me about 25 minutes, five of which I spent trying to get the aforementioned pet hair off of it. And it rolls - let me tell you! I guess I didn't realize how hard to it was to roll my old chair. I actually have to be careful that I don't go rolling off in this thing. I can't really give you any feedback on adjusting the chair because I don't like any tilt whatsoever to my chair. For me there were only two real cons with this chair: 1) I'm short, and this is almost too high to have my feet on the floor and 2) there isn't a great deal of padding on the seat. I think for people of average height, this chair will be just fine if you like to have your feet firmly planted, but for folks under 5'1" be warned. As for the second issue...well, again, this isn't a $200 tempurpedic chair. Since I work from home and sit in this chair for 10 hours a day, I expected to use a seat cushion at some point. I suffer from sciatica and this chair hasn't aggravated it, so that's a good sign. If I needed another office chair, I would buy this again because I definitely think I will more than get my money's worth out of it.I love my new chair! The box must weigh 30 lb. It's easy to assemble, and loctite is already applied to the threads so there's no chance of the chair slowly getting wobbly in the future. I especially like how the back is secured to the base. Some chairs only use one fastener, but this chair uses four for a sturdy attachment. I can see myself being very comfortable sitting in this chair studying for hours at a time. I'm very impressed. There is also a toll-free phone number on the box for additional support.Una silla en la cual se nota la calidad de los materiales, a 6 meses de uso la silla sigue estando igual de cómoda y en perfecto estadoBueno, cómodo y resistentefirst impression!!! great, super confortable!!!Very nice looking and extremely comfortable.
