Sept 2016 Update:I'm impressed by the HON customer service. The manufacturer reached out to me through Amazon and made things right. Great incentive to review products here! After a few months of using the chair, I like it very much. It still isn't an Aeron, but it is a very comfortable chair nonetheless. I have gone 6 hour stretches without feeling fatigue. Solid purchase.Don't rely on the video to make your purchase. The chair in the video is more adjustable than the chair that I received. For starters, the armrests - mine adjusts up and down and width. The armrests in the video also swivel side to side and slide front to back.Tilt lock - my chair has a tilt lock knob that I can lock into 3 positions. The video shows a lever that locks the chair into 4 positions.I use a Herman Miller Aeron at work, but didn't want to pay the money to get it for my home. The biggest difference for me is that the Aeron's mesh gives more - just the right amount. The mesh here doesn't have the elasticity and springy quality. The Endorse is definitely not a comparable chair comfort, quality, and feature-wise. Perhaps this isn't a fair comparison since the Hon costs more than 1/2 less.Overall the chair is well built though and decently comfortable. But with the missing features on the chair that I got, I don't see why I would pay the extra money to get the Endorse over the Ignition. I've read that the headrest also fits on the Ignition. The seat is on the firm side compared to the typical home office chair you might get at an office store but it’s pretty similar to the high-end professional offices chairs meant to last 10 – 15 years. The mesh back is of high quality with lots of spring and tension. Cheaper mesh back chairs have poor elasticity. Like all mesh backs the edges are hard from the frame. So if you lean a bit to the side, or have broad shoulders like I do, the edge can cut into your back. Everything feels heavy duty except for the arm rest. They still feel strong and solid at the bottom but there is some wobble at the top with the horizontal pads. I think my only major complaint would be that the arm rests don’t slide backwards and forwards. It’s an issue because the seat slides backwards and forwards and it takes the arm rest with it. So if you want to move the seat forward for long legs but keep the rest for your elbows you can’t. It looks like the newest model of this chair fixes this but I must have gotten a last gen. I bought the headrest to go with the chair and its okay. It has a mesh back so it has the same issue with the hard edges. I’m 6’5” 270lbs and I’m pushing the height limit of the headrest and width limit in the shoulders. The seat height could probably accommodate someone up to 6'7".I've had this chair for three months now, and I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm 6'-6" and 215 lbs, and my job requires spending a lot of time sitting in front of a computer. It's not a Steelcase or Herman Miller, but it's definitely a level up from the chairs you can find on the floor at the local chain office store. The mesh fabric is comfortable, and I can sit for hours without a shirt on with no discomfort (home office, remember). The seat cushion doesn't put any untoward pressure on the bottom of my legs, and I love the synchro-tilt feature because it keeps the pressure off the legs even when I lean backwards. The armrests are made of a firm yet flexible material that looks like it should have some longevity. The lumbar support is nice, but note that it only slides up and down--it is not adjustable in and out like some of the fancier chairs. It also has a tendency to slide down over time as you get in and out of the chair, so be prepared to adjust it occasionally. The armrest and seat bottom adjustments work fine, but frankly I tend to leave them alone once I get them adjusted to a comfortable setup.I also bought the HON Adjustable Height Mesh Headrest with this chair and I'm happy with it as well. I have it adjusted all the way to top due to my height, but that it reaches my height at all is a real plus. With my height and weight I typically only get a year or two at most out of local big chain office store chair before the armrests break off, the headrest breaks off, the tilt mechanism stops working and the seat cushion flattens out. By the third month I can usually start to see the signs of wear. This chair, on the other hand, is still like new at the three month point. I'm impressed. This chair is absolutely awesome! I'm 6'5" tall & 260 lbs and this is easily the highest quality and most comfortable office chair I've ever had, which includes numerous other brands top of the line heavy-duty models. The adjustments this chair provides go far beyond what the competition offers. The adjustable lumbar support, synchro-tilt feature (which allows the back to tilt without keeping the seat fixed at a 90 degree angle), and the seat glide differentiate it from the vast majority of similar chairs. The seat is firm but comfortable and supportive, but not softly cushioned if that's your preference. It just feels right to me the longer I sit in it. Even the provided adjustment of the arms give you extensive control to find their most comfortable position. It is also delivered nearly fully assembled - you just place the hydraulic support in the base which comes with the casters installed, and then place it into the fully assembled seat and back. That's it, no tools are required and it just takes a couple of minutes to complete. In addition the price from Amazon on this particular model is significantly lower than any other source. I went with the free delivery option, ordered late on Monday night and it was delivered on Wednesday! I'm very pleased with this fine chair as well as Amazon's price and exceptionally quick free delivery. There were no instructions on how to use all of the adjustments included, but if you need them they are available online for reference.
